Outside Plant Engineer

To support a Tier 1 carrier network modernization, the remote Outside Plant Engineer III will plan and develop construction drawings for overhead and underground lines, design work orders for broadband technology, and conduct field surveys for new builds and upgrades. Key Responsibilities Plan and develop drawings for the construction, removal, or rearrangement of overhead and underground lines, cables, and conduits Design work orders for broadband technology, including bills of materials, construction specifications, and cost estimates Conduct field surveys and route engineering for new builds, augmentations, and rehabilitation projects Required Qualifications 5+ years of Outside Plant engineering experience Experience with dark fiber, 3GIS, Visio, and KMZ builds Working knowledge of aerial and underground OSP design standards Strong ability to coordinate across engineering, construction, and operations teams Familiarity with cost estimating and BOM development for OSP construction projects
