Inventory Control

Position Summary: The Inventory Control position will require the employee to perform daily work functions while assisting the supervisor in leading the employees in meeting the departmental productivity, quality, service and financial goals.



Job Title: Warehouse Associate / Order Picker

Location: Suwanee, GA

Salary: $21 per hour

Schedule: 1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday


Accountabilities/Essential Functions:


- Completely own inventory and inventory processes/practices in the warehouse.
- Perform daily cycle counts on inventory to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Ensure inventory is pulled accurately and timely for work orders requested by the team.
- Properly put away products both physically and systematically.
- Continuously improve inventory practices with the team through training and enforcement.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile discrepancies.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless workflow and efficient operations.
- Prepare and generate regular inventory reports for management review.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements in all inventory and shipping activities.
- Assist in the development and implementation of inventory control procedures.
- Oversee the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse and storage areas.

Required Qualifications (Education, Experience, Qualifications):
Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in inventory management, both physical and with a CRM or Great Plains type system.
- Including experience in Cycle Counts, BIN management, etc.

Proficiency:
- Proficient in shipping (UPS/FEDEX).
- Proficient in receiving (serialized and non-serialized products).
- Experience with inventory software and databases.

Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).



Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions:
Position requires lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, or moving materials up to 50 pounds, standing on your feet most of the shift repetitive movements, and hands on general labor
