FSP - Clinical Team Lead - Ophthalmology - US & Canada

Fortrea seeks an experienced Clinical Team Lead in ophthalmology to oversee clinical delivery of research trials within the Full Service Partnering division. Based remotely in the US or Canada, this role requires managing clinical projects, vendor oversight, team leadership, and ensuring contracted deliverables are met.

Responsibilities

• Drive clinical project performance toward contracted deliverables and customer needs
• Develop clinical strategy and manage scope, timelines, quality, and budget
• Oversee recruitment, retention, vendor delivery, and monitoring visit strategy
• Identify and manage clinical, financial, and quality risks through established processes
• Lead and mentor clinical project team members while facilitating cross-functional collaboration

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in life science or allied health certification
• 5+ years clinical research and monitoring experience
• 3+ years leading project teams through full study lifecycle
• Experience managing external vendors and oversight
• Knowledge of ICH Guidelines, GCP, and international regulatory requirements
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams in matrix environments

Compensation: $135,000-$145,000 USD base
