Threshold Inspector / Structural Inspector

Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Threshold Inspector to join our structural engineering and inspection team. This role is responsible for performing inspections on threshold buildings to ensure compliance with approved construction documents, applicable codes, and jurisdictional requirements. Key Responsibilities Perform structural inspections on threshold buildings in accordance with approved plans and applicable codes Document inspection results and prepare clear, concise reports Coordinate with contractors, project managers, and design professionals to address deficiencies Verify compliance with shop drawings, specifications, and engineering requirements Maintain accurate and organized inspection records Attend site meetings as required Communicate inspection findings in a professional and timely manner Qualifications Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Architect in the State of Florida; OR Graduation from a four-year engineering education program in civil, structural or architectural engineering; OR Possession of a professional Architecture degree; OR Registration as a building inspector or general contractor. Experience with threshold inspections and familiarity with the Florida Building Code (preferred) Strong understanding of structural systems and construction practices Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites #J-18808-Ljbffr Belt Engineering
