Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an individual patient or an assigned group, following established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff in the OR and related perioperative areas.
- Coordinate care with anesthesia, the surgical team, and other disciplines; apply critical thinking and professional judgment.
- Maintain patient safety, accuracy of documentation, and adherence to infection control protocols throughout the perioperative period.
- Assist with patient positioning, instrument and equipment handling, and turnover to ensure efficient and safe perioperative flow.
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, and team members; participate in handoffs and postoperative care planning.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California
- Completion of an approved nursing program (e.g., ASN, BSN)
- OR/perioperative nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced operating room environment and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient-positioning skills
