Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming materials, products in production, and finished goods for defects.
- Check materials and products against established quality standards.
- Identify, document, and report quality issues.
- Take photographs and complete basic inspection reports as needed.
- Use a computer to enter inspection results and maintain accurate records.
- Communicate quality concerns to the appropriate team members.
- Assist the quality team with maintaining product and packaging standards.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous quality inspection, manufacturing, or production experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to complete inspection documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify product defects.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Dependable, organized, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Experience with JDE or other manufacturing software is a plus.
- Ability to regularly lift or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally handle heavier materials, with assistance or appropriate equipment as needed.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and move throughout the facility during inspections.
- Comfortable working around manufacturing equipment and moderate to loud noise.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including safety glasses and hearing protection.
- Competitive pay of $18.00-$19.50 per hour.
