Job Duties

• Work as part of the shipping and receiving team in a manufacturing environment.
• Verify outgoing shipments by comparing products and quantities against shipping documents.
• Properly package, label, and load materials for transport.
• Receive incoming shipments and inspect materials for accuracy and damage.
• Route incoming materials to the appropriate departments.
• Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records.
• Organize raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods inventory.
• Assist with maintaining inventory accuracy throughout the facility.
• Help identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and increase recycling efforts.
• Maintain company vehicles used within the department.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers, internal departments, and suppliers.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, organizational, and basic math skills are required.
• Previous shipping, receiving, inventory, or material-handling experience is preferred.
• Some travel may be required.

Safety Requirements

• Must be able to work safely in a manufacturing environment and follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Must be able to lift, move, and handle materials as needed throughout the shift, safely operate material-handling equipment, and maintain a clean and organized work area.
