Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician $28 - $35 per hour | Milwaukee, WI | On‑Site | Permanent We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced permanent Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic, well‑established chemical manufacturing team in Milwaukee. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex machinery and equipment, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities to limit breakdowns and reduce repair costs. Diagnose and repair pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Maintain and repair conveyors, transfer equipment, packaging equipment, case erectors, case sealers, and palletizers. Troubleshoot electrical controls and wiring for AC/DC motors. Handle electrical tasks involving 110, 220, and 480‑volt systems. Utilize electro‑mechanical skills to repair and maintain machinery. Perform mechanical maintenance and repairs as needed. Ensure all maintenance operations comply with company standards and safety regulations. Document maintenance and repair work and maintain detailed records of equipment. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience as a maintenance technician in the construction or manufacturing industry. Extensive knowledge and experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing machinery and equipment. Experience with electrical controls, wiring, and AC/DC motors. Familiarity with conveyor systems, transfer equipment, packaging equipment, case erectors, case sealers, and palletizers. Strong electro‑mechanical skills. Proficiency in working with 110, 220, and 480‑volt systems. Excellent mechanical maintenance skills. Commitment to safety and compliance with all company regulations and standards. Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
