Job Summary

Our partner GmbH is an IT service provider specialising in software revival for application development and support. As an alternative to complete new implementations, which are often costly and risky, Our partner modernises companies' legacy software in an efficient way. The team currently comprises around 155 employees: experts with more than 30 years of professional experience, alongside young professionals with fresh ideas.

Your Tasks

• As a member of one of our cross-functional teams, you will develop customised software solutions in diverse and exciting projects for one of the world's largest logistics service providers.
• Analyse technical requirements and familiarise yourself with complex business processes and their technical implementation.
• Design and implement sophisticated technical concepts and architectures based on modern Java technologies, using tools such as Spring Boot, Angular/React, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Have a direct impact on the introduction of new technologies, contributing your ideas to the modernisation and continuous improvement of our clients' software.
• You are free to choose your preferred operating system for your laptop (Windows or Linux).

Your Profile

• Strong willingness to take initiative, with a solution-oriented and self-responsible working style.
• Open and flexible personality, enjoying work in a motivated and innovative team.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience developing web applications using Spring Boot and Angular/React.
• Confident handling of SQL.
• Desired but not essential: experience with GitLab, GitLab CI/CD, Gradle and Maven.
• Excellent German language skills, minimum B2 level.
