Description

American Traveler is seeking a licensed RN for an Emergency Department position in Illinois, requiring BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications with a minimum of 1 year of ED experience.

Details

• Emergency Department setting in a hospital environment
• Night shift schedule: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM, Monday through Friday only
• No weekend shifts required
• 8-week contract

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department RN experience
• Required certifications: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Preferred certifications: ENPC, TNCC, and/or TNS
• DOB and SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include direct and indirect patient care, evaluating outcomes, adjusting care processes to ensure optimal patient flow through the ED
• Communicates changes in patient status, symptomatology, and diagnostic results to ED physicians
• Consults with specialists and ancillary departments as needed to coordinate care
• Responds quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment
• Addresses psychosocial, physical, and communication needs of patients and families
