Join our dynamic team as a Retail Sales Associate and help cyclists of all levels find their perfect ride! You'll use your passion for cycling and enthusiasm for helping others to deliver an unparalleled customer experience. A key focus will be driving sales while building strong relationships with customers and colleagues alike. Key responsibilities include: interacting with customers to provide expert advice on bike purchases, accessorizing, and other store offerings; collaborating with colleagues to keep the store clean, organized, and visually appealing; and consistently going above and beyond to meet individual customer needs through friendly, personalized service. Ideal candidates possess a positive and adaptable nature, a talent for problem-solving, and a customer-centric work style. Preference will be given to those with retail sales or riding experience, but all applicants are encouraged to apply!

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Greet customers and utilize the sales process to understand a customer's needs and ascertain the right combination of products and services for the customer.
• Provide positive and excited one of a kind customer service.
• Open and close cash registers, performing tasks such as counting money, separating charge slips, coupons, and vouchers, balancing cash drawers, and making deposits.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices.
• Describe merchandise and explain use, operation, and care of merchandise to customers.
• Merchandise product according to sales plan.
• Demonstrate use or operation of merchandise.
• Maintain level of cleanliness throughout the day.
• Inventory stock and requisition new stock.
• Prepare merchandise for purchase or rental.
• Other duties as needed/ assigned.

Requirements include but are not limited to:

• Minimum 1 year experience preferred working as a retail sales associate.
• Previous bike shop sales experience preferred.
• Interest in working in a team environment committed to providing excellent sales and service experience while increasing sales through service
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to maintain open and positive relations with employees and customers
• Interest in developing own skills and knowledge
• Availability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including evenings and weekends
• Ability to periodically lift 40 pounds
