Residential Nurse - Kennesaw Evening Shifts

Position Overview Seeking an LPN or RN to work at our residential adolescent and young adult program in Kennesaw, GA. Schedules available: FT Evenings, PT Evening Shifts. Starting Pay is $28/hr for LPN and $35/hr for RN, with additional compensation based on experience. Shift Differential: $3/hr on Nights/Weekends. As an RN/LPN, you will provide direct care nursing and will also be responsible for administering medications, providing medical treatments, completing admissions, and actively engaging with the youth served and their families/guardians. Devereux Georgia provides intensive residential treatment in a secure setting for youth, ages 10 to 21, who are facing significant emotional, behavioral and intellectual/developmental challenges. Our campus offers a swimming pool, volleyball court, tennis court, playing field, lake and playground. Devereux offers ASCEND, a career accelerator program that provides tuition coverage and financial assistance. Qualifications Education and Experience: Completion of an accredited LPN or RN program and current Georgia Nursing License required. Six months to one year of nursing experience is highly preferred. Experience in psychiatric nursing with children or adolescents is a plus. Other Qualifications: Must be a minimum of 21 years of age. Valid Driver’s License, satisfactory drug screen and background check results. Weekend availability and holidays required. Must be able to complete a two‑week, paid new hire orientation class (approximately 8:30am to 5:30pm daily).
