TheConstruction AutomationSpecialist supports thedaytodayoperation, setup, and maintenance ofConstruction Automationsystems on an assigned construction project. This role provideshandsonsupport for digital tools, workflows, and fieldrelatedtechnology used by construction, project controls, ES&H,commissioning, and variousotherteams.

Working under the direction of the Construction Automation Lead, the Construction Automation Specialist focuses on practical execution, system setup, user support, and maintaining reliable Construction Automation operations in an active project environment.

• Supportsthedaytodayoperation and maintenance ofConstruction Automationsystems and tools
• Assistswith basic setup, configuration, and administration ofConstruction Automationapplications, including reports, user access, and security roles
• Assistsin the deployment ofConstruction Automationsystems on mobile devices such as tablets, phones, or push-to-talk devices
• Supportsthe processing, quality checks, and publishing of visualization data collected from drones, mobile devices, and other site data capture sources
• Monitorssystem usage and data quality and addressesroutine issuesimpactingdaily operations
• Performsbasic troubleshooting of softwareand connectivity issues and escalatescomplex items to theConstruction AutomationLead
• Supportsuser training, onboarding, anddaytodayassistancefor project teams and contractors
• FollowsapprovedConstruction Automationstandards, configurations, and procedures
• Documentscommon issues, resolutions, and lessons learned to support continuous improvement

Requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) in Information Systems, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline and 3+ years of relevant experience or 6-9 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree.

• 3+ years of experience supporting construction technology, digital systems, orsitebasedIT/automation environments
• Handson experience with construction or field technology platforms, including document management systems, reporting tools, mobile applications, and Bechtel automation systems (e.g.,TEAMWorks,SetRoute, Smart Completions) or equivalent tools.
• Comfortable working in an active construction or industrial site environment
• Basic understanding of constructionfunctions, disciplines, andworkflows andoverallcapital projectexecution processes
• Strongproblemsolvingskills and a practical,handson, self-directingmindset
• Ability to work effectively with field personnel, supervisors, and contractors
• Willingness to learn and grow into expandedConstruction Automationresponsibilities
