SATU Registered Nurse

Mission Health in Asheville, NC seeks a SATU Registered Nurse to provide trauma-informed, patient-centered care to sexual assault and abuse survivors. The RN will perform comprehensive assessments, forensic evidence collection, and documentation while collaborating with physicians, social workers, law enforcement, and advocacy organizations. Responsibilities include triage, treatment, medication administration, education, and emotional support for patients and families. The nurse will follow strict chain-of-custody protocols, maintain confidentiality, participate in on-call rotation, and engage in continuous education and quality improvement initiatives.
