Lead Accountant

We are looking for a Lead Accountant to coordinate and support all financial accounting related activities of our Będzin plant in Poland. Responsibilities Manage overall financial accounting functions of the site and perform reviews to ensure compliance with HK IFRS, external audits and internal SOPs Coordinate timely monthly closing process and general ledger account reconciliations Support tax compliance processes and ensure timely and accurate reporting Partner closely with Plant Financial Controller to prepare accurate monthly financial statements Lead and implement initiatives and projects aimed at improving financial accounting systems and processes Cooperate with auditors, tax authorities and external advisors Maintain close collaboration with internal tax and transfer pricing experts Support and guide junior team members where applicable Support compliance with local accounting and tax regulations (e.g. VAT, statutory reporting) Requirements University degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior accounting role (lead experience is an advantage) Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes Fluent English language skills Highly self‑organized, motivated and resilient personality Advanced communication and negotiation skills Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred) is an advantage What we offer Opportunity to gain exposure to international finance processes and system improvements Attractive remuneration, top industry compensation and benefits package A challenging and interesting role where you contribute to driving business success Great appreciation of entrepreneurial and out-of-the-box thinking A truly international and multicultural work context We are committed to providing an inclusive, diverse and equitable workplace where employees of different backgrounds feel valued and respected, regardless of their age, gender, race, ethnicity or religious background.
