Quality Inspector

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a 2nd shift Quality Inspector to join their team. As a 2nd shift Quality Inspector, you will be part of the Quality Assurance Department supporting production and engineering teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: 2nd shift Quality Inspector

Location: Endicott, NY

Pay Range: $21.00- $25.00 DOE

Shift: Second Shift

What's the Job?

• Examine raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure they meet specified criteria.
• Perform visual inspections, measurements, and various tests to identify defects or deviations from standards.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and non-conforming products.
• Report defects to relevant personnel and communicate quality issues effectively.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and management teams to develop solutions for quality concerns.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 1 year of quality inspector experience in a manufacturing environment required .
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, drop gauges, and measuring microscopes.
• Ability to read drawings and specifications and interpret requirements accurately.
• Basic computer skills such as data entry and record keeping.
