About the Position

Job Title: Contract RN - Telemetry Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Active RN License Certifications: Must-Have: Basic Life Support Preferred: Advanced Cardiac Life Support, TNCC Description: Contract RN position in Telemetry. The role involves taking patient assignments with a ratio of 6:1, possibly 5:1. No on-call requirements. Unit has 34 beds. Staff consists of 1 Charge Nurse, 6 Nurses, 2 Patient Care Technicians on night shift. Utilizes Welch Allyn Vital Signs equipment and GE Telemetry Monitoring systems. Electronic Medical Record system in use is MediTech. Typical procedures performed on the unit include wound vacuum therapy, CPM machines, external fixation, and bracing. Ideal candidates will be outgoing and team-oriented. Dress code requires navy scrubs. Recognition includes 1 ICARE Award Winner and 4 Daisy Award Winners.
