Metro Services is seeking to immediately fill Hilo Driver positions for a Manufacturing company in Belleville, MI. This is a Temp-to-Hire job. Apply now!

Duties for this position include:

• Safely operate a Hilo (forklift) to transport raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods throughout the Stamping, Weld, and Assembly departments

• Load and unload materials from pallets, skids, racks, containers, and delivery vehicles

• Support production by moving dies, delivering coils, transporting welded components, and replenishing assembly lines with materials

• Communicate effectively with press operators, weld technicians, assemblers, supervisors, and other team members to maintain production flow

• Maintain organized WIP storage areas by properly tagging materials, managing partial containers, and assisting with line changeovers

• Weigh products and accurately record weights on production tags, labels, and schedules

• Perform routine forklift inspections and operate equipment safely while following all company safety procedures

• Assist with inventory movement and other material handling duties as assigned

Compensation (USD):

$19.00/hour

Schedule:

Monday – Friday

6:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Successful candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Previous forklift/Hilo operating experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred

• Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain certification if required)

• Ability to safely lift, move, and transport production materials throughout the facility

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to accurately complete inventory and production documentation

• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting while maintaining safety and quality standards
