Qualifications Here's What You Need Nursing Diploma in Nursing required or Associate's degree in Nursing required or Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred 1 year experience as registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program required 1 year of Progressive Care Cardiac Unit or Telemetry experience preferred Texas RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire and BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care required and maintained quarterly ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required within 90 days of hire and NRPA - Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program For staff floating to areas where they will be delivering care and resuscitating neonates required within 90 days of hire A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
