Job Overview

• Position : Locum Tenens Radiologist
• Location : Near Midland, North Carolina
• Start Date : January 6, 2025
• Contract Length : Ongoing
• Coverage : Full-time, scheduled coverage with no on-call requirement
• Patient Population : Primarily adults and geriatric patients

Responsibilities

• Specializations Needed : General Radiology, Musculoskeletal (MSK), Body Imaging, and Neuro Imaging
• Radiology Shifts Available :
  • 12a-8a (Monday-Sunday)
  • 8a-5p (Monday-Sunday)
  • 12p-8p (Monday-Sunday)
  • 5p-1a (Monday-Sunday)
• Daily Tasks : Interpret diagnostic imaging studies, including IR, Mammography, Fluoroscopy, and general radiology procedures.
• EMR & PACS : Utilize EPIC, Meditech, Change Healthcare, Intelerad, and PowerScribe One for efficient documentation and reporting.

Requirements

• Board Certification : Required in Radiology
• State License : Must hold or be willing to obtain a North Carolina state license; IMLC candidates welcome.
• Credentialing Timeframe : Approximately 4-6 weeks for completion
• Experience : Experience in a trauma Level I or Level II facility is beneficial but not mandatory.
