Caregivers, HCA or CNALive-in shifts are one 24-hour period or up to 3.5 days, depending on scheduling needs.At Generations Homecare, we strive to make every client a client for life. Depending on the client's care plan and needs, a caregiver may need to have a driver's license and drive either their personal vehicle for errands/appointments (mileage reimbursement is provided) or may drive the client's car.Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive mannerAvailable to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekendsPrior experience in healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)Willingness to enforce health and safety standardsSupportive and compassionateHigh School Diploma or equivalent/Experience as a CNA or completion of a CNA ProgramTake pride in providing high-quality careHoyer lift experience (specific to client)Most live-in clients have a need a caregiver to transport the client.
