Travel MS/Tele Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 3 days per week. Must work at least 6 weekend shifts within a 6-week schedule.

Job Description

The MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy and procedures. The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care; maintains clinical competencies through continuing education; delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available; provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the Nursing Process to assess and deliver patient care.
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in patient management.
• Delegate patient care tasks based upon team members' education and experience.
• Supervise and provide direction to nursing staff and support personnel.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid Arizona RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• 2+ years of nursing experience in a similar setting.
• Ability to float between departments and facilities as needed.
• Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred.
