Step into an impactful role supporting students’ communication needs in a vibrant educational setting near Providence, RI. This full-time contract opportunity runs from May 18, 2026, through May 20, 2027, serving a diverse caseload of primarily ASD students between the ages of 5 and 22. The school offers a collaborative environment and is actively seeking a professional open to ESY work and potentially continuing into the following year.

Qualifications:

• Current and active Rhode Island Speech License required
• Accepting SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, and SLPA credentialed professionals
• Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
• Ability to work effectively with students diagnosed on the autism spectrum
• Willingness to complete mandatory on-site safety care training
• Strong communication and documentation skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative speech-language services to a caseload of 18–22 students, adjusting to frequency as needed
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs and IEP goals
• Conduct assessments, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
• Collaborate closely with special educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to foster student progress
• Contribute to the school’s positive, student-centered environment and participate in professional development as required
