We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to join our healthcare team in Philadelphia, PA. The PCA will work under the supervision of registered nurses and other medical professionals to provide direct patient care and support with daily activities. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, reliable, and has a passion for helping others.

Job Description:
We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to join our healthcare team in Philadelphia, PA. The PCA will work under the supervision of registered nurses and other medical professionals to provide direct patient care and support with daily activities. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, reliable, and has a passion for helping others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
- Monitor and document vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure)
- Support patient mobility, including transferring, repositioning, and ambulation
- Ensure patient safety and maintain a clean, comfortable environment
- Assist with basic medical procedures as directed by nursing staff
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid PCA certification (preferred or required based on state regulations)
- Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred)
- Previous experience in a healthcare or patient care setting is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and handle physical tasks
