Volt is immediately hiring for Manufacturing Assemblers in Sandusky, MI.

4-Day Work Week • 1st & 2nd Shift Available • Overtime Available

As a Manufacturing Assembler you will:

• Assemble products and components according to blueprints, work instructions, and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Read and interpret assembly drawings, specifications, and manufacturing documentation.
• Use hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and assembly equipment to complete product assembly.
• Test and calibrate components and mechanisms to ensure compliance with quality standards and product specifications.
• Inspect finished assemblies and identify products that do not meet test or tolerance requirements.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and rework products as needed.
• Perform tool, fixture, and test setup changeovers.
• Maintain quality and productivity standards while meeting production goals.
• Follow established safety procedures and housekeeping requirements.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to support production schedules.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

This is a full-time opportunity.

Available Schedules: 

1st Shift:  Monday - Thursday; 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Overtime (as required)

• Friday: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM
• Saturday: 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM

2nd Shift:  Monday - Thursday; 4:30 PM - 3:00 AM

Overtime (as required)

• Friday: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM
• Saturday: 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM

The ideal candidate will have:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and assembly documentation.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products.
• Ability to maintain production standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Excellent reliability, dependability, and attendance.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

• 1+ year of manufacturing, production, mechanical assembly, or industrial assembly experience.
• Experience reading Bills of Materials (BOMs) and routers.
• Experience testing, calibrating, troubleshooting, or repairing assemblies.
• Familiarity with quality inspection processes and manufacturing documentation.

Pay Rate: $17.86 - $18.36 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
