About the Position
Ensemble Schools is seeking fun, experienced, and professional music instructors to substitute teach voice, piano, guitar, bass, and ukulele at The Music Box in Lafayette, LA . We are looking for teachers who will instruct IN PERSON!
Successful candidates will have a strong music background evidenced by a degree in music performance, music education, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience, a demonstrated love of teaching, experience working with young musicians, a robust appreciation for punctuality, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a routine background check.
Instructor pay is commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $20-$26/hour. A 401(K) program with employer matching is available to all of our employees after 90 days on the job. This posting is specifically for The Music Box, in Lafayette, Louisiana. We support students of all ages in their musical pursuits while fostering Confidence and Creativity through Music! We take pride in customizing the learning experience and guiding our students through every stage of their musical journeys.
We focus on the core musical instruments, specifically piano, voice, guitar, ukulele, bass, and elevate the learning experience with our exciting live concerts and recording sessions. To us, music is magic and the experience of learning to sing or play an instrument should be dazzling.
