Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Summary:


The ICU Registered Nurse is responsible for providing specialized care to critically ill patients in the intensive care unit. They ensure high-quality patient outcomes through expert clinical skills and compassionate care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients to identify changes in medical condition.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to physician orders and protocols.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medication scanning and assessments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Float to other campuses ICU units as needed to manage census and maintain staffing levels.
• Adhere to travel and compliance policies, including timely reporting when placed on call.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of 2 years of recent and consecutive ICU experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
• Hold a valid state license; pending licenses are not accepted.
• Travel experience required; no first-time travelers accepted.
• Demonstrate proficiency with medication scanning and ICU clinical procedures.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Ability to work night shifts (3x12 hours) from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
