The Firehouse Restaurant, Sacramento's most award-winning fine dining restaurant, is looking for an experienced Dishwasher to join our team.
For over 60 years, the Firehouse Restaurant has become synonymous with outstanding wine, delicious food, and elegant affairs. Our inventive approach to intimate dining fuses sophistication with everyday excellence in the heart of Old Sacramento. Showcasing the region’s most extensive wine collection and an unparalleled menu featuring the freshest local ingredients in an inviting classic atmosphere.
Requirements:REQUIREMENTS:
- 1 year of work experience preferred but not required.
- Working knowledge of kitchen sanitation and food preparation techniques.
- Knowledge of all kitchen cleaning supplies and chemicals and their uses required.
- Knowledge of basic dish machine operations.
- Food Handlers Certification required.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
- This position will spend 100% of the time standing.
- Must be able to transport up to 50 pounds on occasion and up to 35 pounds regularly.
- Be able to work in a fast paced kitchen environment.
- Be able to work in hot, wet, humid and loud environment for long periods of time.
