Duties & Responsibilities:

· Answer incoming calls and efficiently manage patient call queue.

· Communicate effectively with patients.

· Schedule patient appointments.

· Collect new patient demographics

· Interact with referring physicians' offices to obtain patient information and referrals when required

· Direct triage calls to the appropriate doctor or team member for resolution

- Fulfill records requests from patients, providers and third parties

Qualifications:

· Minimum 2 years front desk or phone center experience in a private medical/dental practice or a hospital

· Experience in a high volume patient scheduling environment

· Experiencing explaining medical insurance coverage, deductibles, co-pays and co-insurance.

· Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

· Attention to accuracy and detail in all aspects of responsibilities.

· Proven ability to multitask and excel in a fast paced environment.

· Focus on completing tasks efficiently and within allotted time frames.

· Ability to follow directions, sometimes from multiple sources, and determine priorities.

· Experience with EHR software, MS Office programs and multi-line telephone systems.

· Must possess good oral and written (English) communication skills.

· Availability for normal business hours from 7:30am to 5:00pm.
