Job Position: Diesel Mechanic / Heavy Equipment Technician Job Type: Full-Time Location: Sioux City, IA 51101 Pay Rate: $23.00-$30.00/hr DOE Job Summary: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM Description: We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic / Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team. This position involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining construction equipment, including lifts, mini excavators, generators, and other heavy equipment. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, troubleshooting, and providing quality service in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

- Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel and heavy equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and complete repairs
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections
- Complete work orders and service documentation
- Operate hand and power tools safely
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Provide excellent customer service
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Mechanical or heavy equipment experience preferred
- Vocational or technical training is a plus
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong work ethic
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
- Comfortable operating tools and equipment safely
