Azure DevOps Engineer

Mid-Level Azure DevOps EngineerApex Systems is currently searching for an Mid-Level Azure DevOps Engineer for one of our fortune 500 clients.Job duties and responsibilities include:Support a multi-site, multi-platform VMware, Windows and Linux environment in order to meet and maintain appropriate service levels.Responsible for testing, tuning, configuration and setup of VMware, Windows and Linux architecture as well as support common server applications.Experience with vRealize Automation, vRealize Operations Manager, NSX, and EHC preferred.Maintain appropriate documentation on the VMware, Windows and Linux environments.Provide a point of escalation and support to the Desktop Support Group.Provide 24/7 on-call support for the virtualization and server environment as part of a rotation.Participate in weekend maintenance activities as required.Perform general system administration duties in a Windows Active Directory environment.Monitor Windows 2003/2008/2012 and RHEL 5/6/7 servers and troubleshoot problems.Support, maintain and administer third party applications.Produce appropriate documentation for application deployment, configuration and related processes.Enforce change management and compliance processes.Work as a technical resource on assigned projects.Install, configure, update and maintain server operating systems.Proactively manage the VMware, Windows, and Linux environments, replication and redundancy.Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing and response.Perform routine preventative maintenance on server hardware.Perform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems.Maintain proactive management and maintenance of the infrastructure to prevent service interruptions.Schedule and prioritize work to accommodate client needs while minimizing impact on operations.Contribute to internal project teams that establish guidelines, set procedures, outline standards, and monitor for industry compliance.Maintain a positive and professional appearance and attitude at all times.Requirements:Three to five years of related experience.BS/BA or equivalent experience is desired.Excellent communication and presentation skills, written, verbal and listening.Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.Ability to work effectively and add value as a team member.Strong problem solving skills: ability to assess a problem and determine an effective course of action.Technical Certification Level: MCSE/MCSA/VCP preferred.
