Job Title Research Engineer Location Worcester Description Summary The research engineer will work with the PI on facilitating the lab’s ongoing research projects in the immersive system. Responsibilities Designing, implementing, and testing an edge‑assisted hardware testbed. Integrating our mobile robotic platform for human‑centered AR evaluation and multi‑camera systems for visual offloading and 3‑D reconstruction. Assist the PI in preparing preliminary results and manuscript drafts for proposal and paper submissions. Qualifications M.S. in Robotics Engineering or a related engineering/computing field. Hands‑on experience with ROS2. Experience developing, integrating, or operating mobile robots, manipulators, or mobile‑manipulation systems. Strong programming skills in Python and/or C++.
