How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Serve as the Emergency Department’s clinical expert and primary resource, providing direct support to frontline caregivers through regular rounding and real-time coaching.

• Research and implement cutting-edge clinical standards and evidence-based practices to continuously improve patient outcomes and departmental efficiency.

• Identify learning gaps and lead the design and execution of educational initiatives to advance the professional growth of the nursing team.

• Proactively identify opportunities for clinical enhancement and spearhead initiatives that elevate the overall standard of care within the ED.

• Utilize strong interpersonal skills and extensive emergency nursing experience to advocate for both patient safety and staff professional development.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

Required Credential(s):

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Red Cross or American Heart Association accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited school/college of nursing required.

Work Experience:

• 2 years applicable experience required.
• 5 years preferred.

What additional preferences we're seeking

• Previous experience in nursing education, quality improvement, or leadership.
• Certification in Emergency Nursing (CEN) preferred.
• Master’s degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
