AI Model Safety Grants Lead
University of Denver
OpenAI Foundation in San Francisco seeks a founding grantmaker for the AI Model Safety program. You will evaluate frontier models, design grant portfolios, and help the field scale as AI advances. You'll own end-to-end grantmaking, identify key players, and collaborate with the AI Resources team to route support to grantees. This early role offers independence, reports to the Director of AI Resources, and welcomes mid-career and senior candidates with a passion for safe AI for humanity.
