Assembly Apprentice

As a part of our continued growth, we are seeking an assembler apprentice in our assembly department. We are a firearms manufacturer based in Las Vegas, NV. We are seeking local candidates that are highly motivated and passionate about adding value to the team by supporting operational processes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safely use and operate tools (including power tools)
• Maintain a consistent pace throughout the day.
• Maintain consistent reliable attendance.
• Maintain quality work.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and push or pull.
• Able to bend, stoop, squat, turn, kneel, and twist.
• Able to sit and/or walk and stand on your feet for 8 hours a day.
• This is a fast-paced environment.

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to pass a thorough background investigation.
• Must be able to pass a thorough drug screen (hair and urine).

• Commitment to long term employment opportunity.
• Following verbal and written instructions as provided by supervision.
• Self starting initiatives when performing the workday assignment.
• Focusing on tasks with minimal co-worker interaction (socializing on the clock is not acceptable).
• Safety first mindset includes self-preservation, securing workspace and surroundings assuring co-workers' safety while performing machine operations.
• Assembly, machining, inspection, and cleaning duties as assigned.

Basic math and reading skills to perform job tasks and complete necessary paperwork. Ability to follow oral and/or written instruction. Must be punctual and have strong attendance record.
