Certified Occupational Therapy AssistantThis position is primarily going to be providing care in the treatment mall however it may be temporarily transitioned to a unit-based position. Assists in implementing, planning and delivering group/individual occupational therapy based on standards of care Provide assessment and treatment to patients with psychosocial dysfunctions, problems with aging, physical disabilities, substance abuse & other conditions interfering with daily living Collaborate with the treatment team and patients to follow agreed upon treatment plan Participate in developing methodologies, policies and procedures for implementation of occupational therapy program in conjunction with OT Director Conduct interviews with patients, gather information and history of patients through information obtained in the interview and chart reviews This is an hourly position covered by the OCSEA/AFSCME bargaining unit (union), with a pay range of 29 on the OCSEA Pay Range Schedule. Normal working hours are 1st shift 8:30am-5pm with a Sunday rotation every 5-6 weeks.
