Job Description:\n\nJob Description – Studio Manager \n\nClassification: Exempt \nManagement Level: Mid-level \nReports to: Regional Sales and Operations Manager \n\n \nSummary/Objective \n\nThe Studio Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of studio performance, including member acquisition and retention, sales execution, team development, and operational excellence. This role oversees the day-to-day operations of the studio while driving revenue growth, profitability, and delivery of a consistent, best-in-class member experience. The Studio Manager is accountable for recruiting, hiring, onboarding, coaching, and supervising studio team members while fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous development. This leader establishes clear performance expectations, monitors key business metrics, and provides ongoing coaching to ensure achievement of sales goals, operational standards, and company initiatives. In partnership with the Head Coach, the Studio Manager ensures alignment between sales, operations, and fitness execution to create a cohesive, high-performing studio environment. The Studio Manager utilizes strong business acumen, problem-solving skills, and data-driven decision-making to identify opportunities, improve performance, and drive sustainable business results. The Studio Manager reports directly to the Regional Sales and Operations Manager and serves as the primary leader responsible for overall studio success, team performance, and member and develop studio team members to consistently deliver brand standards across member experience, sales execution, operations, and overall studio performance.\n\n· Foster a positive, inclusive, and accountability-driven culture that promotes teamwork, engagement, and continuous development.\n\n· Hold Sales Associates accountable to established performance expectations through regular coaching, feedback, performance conversations, and development planning.\n\n· Ensure appropriate studio staffing levels through proactive workforce planning, scheduling oversight, and talent deployment.\n\n· Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard high-quality talent to support business needs and long-term organizational growth.\n\n· Build leadership bench strength through succession planning and ongoing identification and development of internal talent.\n\n· Support and reinforce company training initiatives to ensure consistent onboarding, operational execution, and ongoing team development.\n\n· Partner with the Head Coach and Regional Sales and Operations Manager to develop and execute action plans that drive performance improvement, operational excellence, and business growth.\n\n· Promote clear communication and alignment between fitness and sales teams to support a cohesive and high-performing studio environment.\n\n· Understanding of and commitment to exceptional customer service and the core values at OT Group Holdings, LLC.\n\n Financial Performance\n\n· Oversee daily studio sales performance, operational execution, staffing utilization, and overall business needs to ensure efficient and effective studio operations.\n\n· Drive studio profitability by increasing membership growth, maximizing class utilization and bookings, and expanding ancillary revenue opportunities while maintaining disciplined expense and labor management.\n\n· Generate sales leads through community outreach, grassroots marketing, referral generation, partnerships, and other operational and marketing initiatives.\n\n· Monitor, analyze, and communicate key business metrics and studio performance results through accurate and timely daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.\n\n· Lead and support studio teams in achieving and exceeding sales goals through effective execution of sales strategies, lead management, and local market initiatives.\n\n· Ensure consistent execution of promotional campaigns, corporate initiatives, and community marketing efforts to drive brand awareness, member engagement, and studio performance.\n\n· Identify business opportunities and implement action plans to improve revenue growth, operational efficiency, member retention, and overall studio performance.\n\n· Maintain accountability for payroll, labor management, controllable expenses, and financial performance in alignment with company expectations and budget goals.\n\n Member Experience \n\n· Champion a high-quality, differentiated member experience that reflects Orangetheory brand standards and promotes member satisfaction, engagement, and retention.\n\n· Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional customer service through effective leadership, coaching, and accountability of studio team members.\n\n· Partner with studio teams to address and resolve member questions, concerns, and escalated issues promptly, professionally, and effectively.\n\n· Conduct regular studio audits and observations to assess operational performance, service standards, cleanliness, and overall member experience while providing real-time coaching and feedback.\n\n· Monitor member feedback, reviews, and satisfaction metrics to identify trends and implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.\n\n· Reinforce a welcoming, inclusive, and community-focused environment that enhances member loyalty and supports studio growth.\n\n· Ensure studio presentation, merchandising, and facility standards are consistently maintained in alignment with company and brand expectations.\n\n· Collaborate with the Head Coach and studio team to support member engagement initiatives, retention strategies, and community-building efforts.\n\n Studio Operations \n\n· Oversee daily studio operations to ensure consistent execution of company policies, operational procedures, and brand standards.\n\n· Maintain inventory and tracking of studio equipment, supplies, shipments, janitorial materials, and retail merchandise, including apparel, heart rate monitors, accessories, and other studio devices.\n\n· Monitor operational performance and partner with studio teams to identify gaps, implement solutions, and improve overall studio effectiveness and performance.\n\n· Support resolution of operational issues related to employee relations, human resources matters, inventory management, supply chain coordination, and facility maintenance.\n\n· Utilize meetings, reporting tools, and digital communication platforms to drive alignment, communicate priorities, and ensure operational consistency.\n\n· Ensure the cleanliness, organization, upkeep, and functional efficiency of the studio facility and fitness equipment in accordance with company and brand expectations.\n\n· Coordinate maintenance requests, vendor relationships, and facility repair needs to support a safe, clean, and fully operational studio environment.\n\n· Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, operational procedures, and applicable employment and workplace regulations.\n\n· Support execution of new studio initiatives, process improvements, and company Maintain appropriate professional boundaries.\n\n· Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.\n\nSupervisory Responsibility \n\nThis position directly supervises Sales Associates and is responsible for hiring, coaching, scheduling, performance management, and team development.\n\nWork Environment \n\nThis position operates primarily within studio environments, with regular time spent working at a computer, communicating with team members and members in person and by phone, and utilizing standard office equipment, including computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing systems. The role requires frequent movement throughout studio locations, including prolonged periods of walking both inside and outside of the studio environment. The position also involves regular interaction with team members and members in active fitness studio settings that may be loud or fast-paced at times.\n\nPhysical Demands \n\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This position requires the ability to occasionally lifts up to 30 pounds and bend or stand as necessary.\n\nPosition Type/Expected Hours of Work \n\nThis is a full-time position. Regular business hours are Monday through Friday; however, flexibility is required to work evenings, weekends, and extended hours as needed.
