START DATE: As soon as possible FLSA STATUS: Exempt APPLICATION DEADLINE: Dec 09, 2026 Position Summary The Doctor of Social Work (DSW) program at Long Island University is seeking part-time adjunct instructors to teach courses in its synchronous online program. Applicants must hold an MSW from a CSWE-accredited program. A doctorate in social work or a related field is preferred. Candidates should have a minimum of three years of post-MSW professional experience. Prior college-level teaching experience is preferred. Key Responsibilities teaching assigned courses using approved curriculum materials providing regular, timely, and substantive feedback to students supporting student progress toward course objectives and learning outcomes maintaining consistent engagement in a synchronous online environment collaborating effectively with program faculty and staff. Qualifications Have an MSW from a CSWE-accredited program. A doctorate in social work or a related field is preferred. Candidates should have a minimum of three years of post-MSW professional experience.
