Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in specialty License: Current nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, PALS, CPI, BLS, TNCC Must-Have: Epic experience required Must have prior experience with a patient ratio of 3:1 Charge experience preferred Description: This position requires an experienced emergency room registered nurse. The nurse will be expected to work night shifts covering three 12-hour shifts. There may be an expectation to stay at the facility during emergency events. Specific pay details will be provided regarding each emergency situation. The unit may require the nurse to float to other areas as needed. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend. Applicants should have experience with Epic electronic health records. Successful candidates will demonstrate skills in various emergency procedures. Experience in trauma and ability to manage multiple patient conditions is preferred. Candidates must hold required certifications and demonstrate proficiency in emergency protocols. Communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is essential. This role involves caring for a diverse patient population across all age groups. The nurse will participate in patient assessments and treatment planning. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are necessary. Additional responsibilities may include monitoring vitals and administering medication. The emergency room setting requires quick critical thinking and decision-making skills.
