Production Supervisor

Salary $70,000–$80,000 annually, based on experience Location: Danbury, CT Employment Type Full-Time | Direct Hire Schedule Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations in a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for overseeing production staff, coordinating workflows, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring production goals are achieved safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with manufacturing supervisory experience who can motivate teams, improve processes, and drive operational performance. Production Supervisor Responsibilities Supervise daily production activities and support manufacturing operations Lead, train, and develop production employees to achieve performance goals Coordinate staffing, workflow, scheduling, and production priorities Monitor productivity, quality, and on-time delivery performance Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste Track production metrics and analyze departmental performance Ensure compliance with safety policies, quality standards, and company procedures Conduct employee coaching, performance reviews, and corrective action when needed Collaborate with departments including Quality, Engineering, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Supply Chain Maintain organized work areas, equipment, and inventory controls Qualifications & Skills Minimum 4 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment Experience leading assembly, production, or manufacturing teams Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, or process optimization principles Experience using ERP systems and production reporting tools Strong understanding of production scheduling, workflow management, and KPI tracking Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Associate degree or higher preferred Project management experience is a plus Why Join This Opportunity?
