Commercial Surety Underwriter
Virtual Vocations Inc
Supporting the Southeast territory, the full-time Commercial Surety Underwriter will manage the underwriting process, underwrite and monitor commercial accounts, and develop marketing strategies to drive profitable growth, with options for remote work. Key responsibilities Direct all aspects of the underwriting process for a designated group within the product line Underwrite and monitor commercial accounts and account lines, performing risk analysis Develop and execute a marketing plan targeting new brokers and attending industry functions Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in insurance, finance, risk management, business, or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar field or position Proven experience developing agency relationships and managing a profitable book of business
