This part-time, contract-based role is set in the vibrant community near Middleburg, FL, with positions available at elementary, middle, and high schools across the area. As an integral member of the school’s health team, you’ll help shape positive student experiences by delivering professional nursing care and supporting the well-being of children and adolescents throughout the school day.

What you’ll bring:

• Active Florida LPN license, high school diploma or GED, and current CPR/BLS certification
• Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly valued
• Ability to adapt and respond to diverse student needs as they arise
• Commitment to maintaining student confidentiality and safety
• Willingness to complete orientation, district credentialing, and fingerprint clearance
• Professionalism, dependability, and a collaborative mindset

Core responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care and first aid to students in health rooms
• Monitor students with chronic health needs and communicate plans with staff and families
• Document care, maintain accurate records, and follow school health protocols
• Participate in required training prior to the start date and ongoing as needed
• Collaborate closely with school staff and administer medications as prescribed

Enjoy the flexibility of PRN (substitute/per-diem) scheduling, with the potential to move into a full-time, long-term role as openings arise. Contracts run from August through late May, aligning with the academic calendar.
