Busser

Under the direction of the Asst. Manager, the busser is responsible for preparing dining rooms for use, cleans appropriate areas, and sets tables for further use ensuring a positive guest experience.

Essential Job Functions:

  1. Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures.
  2. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment and maintain physical stamina.
  3. Completes all established set-up, stocking and closing duties on time.
  4. Clears, cleans and resets tables according to procedures.
  5. Cleans area under and around tables and hutches.
  6. Knows and adheres to health and sanitation guidelines at all times.
  7. Demonstrates a courteous, friendly, polite, congenial and efficient attitude.
  8. Promotes positive guest/employee relations.
  9. Other assignments as directed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one (1) year of high volume food service experience.
  • Commitment to routinely go above and beyond in the accomplishment of position responsibilities in an effort to play a role in the achievement of organizational goals.
  • Must present an image of excitement, enthusiasm, and outgoing personality, while being able to project a professional appearance.
  • Management expectation is that you must be able to work any shift including weekends and holidays.

Work Environment:

• May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke and excessive noise.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

• The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise and constant exposure to general public.

• Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.

Second preference is given to members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes who meet the job requirements.
