Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Role Overview The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for overseeing and coordinating resident care during assigned shifts, ensuring compliance with regulations and facility policies under the supervision of the Director of Nursing. This role includes providing clinical supervision to nursing assistants, ensuring continuity of care, and serving as a key resource for residents, families, and staff. This role includes providing clinical supervision to nursing assistants, ensuring continuity of care, and serving as a key resource for residents, families, and staff. Key Responsibilities Supervise CNAs/STNAs and other direct care staff Plan, assign, and direct work based on resident needs and staff capabilities Prepare and adjust work assignments and staffing levels for resident safety Coordinate staffing needs and handle replacements as necessary Complete performance evaluations for staff Manage staff break schedules and resolve concerns using independent judgment within legal and policy guidelines Qualifications & Skills 1-2 years of experience in long-term or sub-acute care preferred Current state license as an LPN CPR certification (within 90 days if not already certified) #J-18808-Ljbffr Alpha Home Health and Hospice
