Status:   Full‑Time \n
Schedule: Three 12‑hour shifts per week; standard clinic hours are 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM, seven days a week\n
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate  (based on experience) + monthly productivity bonus + monthly stipend for APP supervision \n

\n We are seeking a   Full‑Time   clinician to join our team in  Fayetteville, NC . This role is ideal for clinicians who value variety, autonomy, and meaningful community impact while practicing in a fast‑paced, well‑supported urgent care environment.\n

The work is engaging and varied, with a broad patient population and generally low‑acuity presentations that keep skills sharp without the pressure of inpatient follow-up.\n

\n Key Responsibilities \n

\n

\n
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting
\n
• Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits
\n
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including labs and imaging
\n
• Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing and wound management (as applicable)
\n
• Clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
\n
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHR
\n
• Code and bill services appropriately
\n
• Maintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarks
\n
• Practice in alignment with NextCare clinical standards and values
\n

\n Required Qualifications \n

\n

\n
• Active, unrestricted  North Carolina license for MD/DO
\n
• Board certification or eligibility in  Emergency or Family Medicine
\n
• Active DEA license 
\n
• Ability to treat patients of all ages
\n
• Active BLS certification
\n
• EHR proficiency
\n
• Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays
\n
• DOT certification required or willingness to obtain (fees covered)
\n
• Must be willing to supervise APP clinicians as per North Carolina state requirements.  An additional stipend will be paid per APP supervised.

\n Preferred Qualifications \n

\n

\n
• Prior urgent care, emergency medicine, or fast‑track experience
\n
• Strong procedural skills (e.g., suturing, splinting, wound care)
\n
• Experience with initial x‑ray interpretation prior to radiology over‑read
\n
