Construction Superintendent

Our client is a well-established Houston-based commercial general contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects and building long-term relationships with both clients and employees. They are seeking an experienced Superintendent to join their Interiors Division , overseeing corporate office tenant improvement projects throughout the Houston area. Responsibilities Oversee all on-site construction activities for corporate office tenant improvement projects from start to finish. Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget. Maintain a safe, organized, and productive job site while enforcing all safety standards. Review drawings and specifications to ensure work is completed according to project requirements. Collaborate closely with Project Managers, architects, engineers, and clients throughout the construction process. Manage project schedules, daily reports, inspections, and quality control. Identify and proactively resolve field issues to minimize delays. Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders. Qualifications 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent managing commercial interior construction projects. Strong background in corporate office tenant improvements . Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors and fast-paced renovation projects. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Proficient with construction management software and daily reporting tools. OSHA certification is preferred.
