Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff through strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $16.48 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related concerns according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verify authorized access when required, and communicate with site contacts regarding security-related issues.
• Support a professional environment by assisting with directions, de-escalating routine interactions when appropriate, and reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Hospital vaccinations are required.
• Must be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to restrain individuals, as appropriate to the role.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
