Schedule

Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30); Day shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Med/Surg Tele RN with a potential to float to various units to provide high-quality patient care. This role requires a balance between critical thinking and compassionate nursing practice in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg telemetry unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medication and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control standards.
• Participate in health education and discharge planning for patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 12 months permanent nursing experience in Med/Surg or Telemetry.
• Active Ohio nursing license or a compact state license must be in hand at the time of submission.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required.
• Experience with ECG rhythm recognition.
• Must be able to float to units J1-2, J33, and ED as necessary.
