About the Position

We are seeking an experienced  Occupational Therapist (OT)for a 13-week travel assignment in an outpatient setting. This position offers a consistent Monday–Friday daytime schedule, with approximately 20% of visits taking place in Assisted Living Facilities (ALFs) .

Assignment Details

• Setting: Outpatient
• Shift: Days, Monday–Friday
• Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
• Facility Work Week: Sunday–Saturday
• Daily Stand-Up: 8:30 AM, Monday–Friday
• Patient Ratio: 6–7 patients
• Estimated Weekly Mileage: 50–75 miles, may vary
• Travel Radius: Up to 50 miles from the facility
• Mileage: Included in the bill rate
• Charting System: WellSky
• Dress Code: Clean, professional scrubs with closed-toe shoes
• Weekend: Weekend visits may be used to make up missed visits

Requirements

• Active OT license
• Minimum 2 years of recent licensed OT experience
• At least 1 recently completed travel assignment
• Recent experience with  home health/homecare and HomeBase
• BLS certification
• First Aid certification
• No new graduates
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills

COVID-19 Requirement

Connecticut facility policy  requires COVID-19 vaccination and boosters . Medical and religious exemptions are considered on a case-by-case basis. Travelers who receive facility approval for an exemption will be required to complete  weekly COVID testing , with testing handled by the facility.
