Warehouse Associate

Our client, a leader in logistics and warehousing services, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join their team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting inventory management and order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Location: Portsmouth, VA

Pay Range: $17.85 pay rate

Shift: 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM

What's the Job?

• Operate forklifts, including electric and manual pallet jacks, to move inventory safely and efficiently

• Package and label customer orders accurately and promptly

• Inspect incoming products and verify against shipping manifests for accuracy

• Utilize computer systems to process receipts, putaways, picks, and replenishments

• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED

• Ability to perform basic math, read, and understand written operating procedures

• Forklift certification or ability to become certified (company provided)

• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs and stand/crouch for extended periods

• Reliable transportation and availability for occasional overtime
